my friend is really worried and can't think straight... her boyfriend is also 20 and she's 17 but they have been dating for about 3 years now and now she might be pregnant. we know that in the state of Texas the age of consent s 17 but can he get in trouble still? what can happen? she doesn't want to get him in trouble...

Being pregnant at 17 is enough trouble. But as long as the pregnancy happened while she was 17, no there is really nothing that can be done. I will assume parents were aware she was dating 20 year old, and that he is making plans on being responsible and paying for costs of the baby

Her parents know and everything and yes she will be 18 in June... and he's really excited and says he's financially ready, but there's no problem? Like the doctor and nurses won't so enything

No problem, age of consent is OK, I personally think a little young for a baby, but now just adjusting to new phase of life.

June of 214?
In other words, she became 17 in June of 2013. And she's pregnant now, some four months later? We don't know how far along she is, do we? It's conceivable (no pun intended, really) that she became pregnant before she turned 17.

She turned 17 June 2014... and she's like 1 or 2 months maybe so it was after

So my calculations are correct then.

Unless she is almost ready to give birth, I suspect that it would be impossible to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the baby was conceived before she reached the age of consent. Therefore they have no reason to worry.

She's about a month pregnant
