Hello or Assalamualaikum!

I have been looking all over the Internet in search of an answer to this question..
Is It Haraam for a Muslim Girl to Have a Boyfriend?

I want to know if it is haraam, makrooh, gunnah etc. to have a boyfriend.

For Example;
If there's a fifteen year old girl and she's been interested in a guy that goes to school with her? And luckily for her, he feels the same way.

Is it Haraam for this girl to have a boyfriend if she knows for absolute sure that neither of them are interested in intercourse or any sexual activity because of their age etc.
Will it still be considered Haraam for this girl to have a boyfriend?

Because all she wants is to be with him. She doesn't want to commit any sexual act. Some people have said it counts as "adultery" because it might lead to intercourse etc. but this girl's situation is different.

Please provide evidence.
JazakAllah / Thank-you.

Did you ask this question the other day?
She is a teen and teens have raging hormones, so you may say you will not want sex but it happens. The dating thing is dependent on what her parents say, not us.

No.. I'm new to this website.
This is concerning one of my close friends actually. She needs to know whether it's sinful in Islam for her to date a guy. She simply wants to be with him. She's an extremely sensible person and would never go that far.

Thak-you for your help.

Well if she is Islam she should know what is in that faith. She maybe a sensible person but she is still a teen. She needs to ask her parents if she can date. What we may say means nothing.
