My husband is on felony probation for 23 years out of Mississippi. He's on an interstate compact to another state. He was robbed last Nov and the guy that robbed him was also an convicted felon so to make a long story short he was given a choice to fight the case in which he did from Jan through Sept. The offers were since him and the other party did have a fight and an encounter they had to charge him with something, so the charge is accessory to a felony but the question is what is the felony? So they offered him more probation to run with his current state hea on probation with or get an atr for 10 yrs and have his probation violated and sent back to his arresting state so his paid lawyer coached him to take the plea and he did. And now he's in jail on a doc hold for Mississippi for possible probation violation. This is his first offense and he would be off supervised probation 11/11/2013 he did 5 years he got a good job his boss is an probation officer outside of Mississippi and also his probation officer had him coming to report twice a month. He has never failed a drug test he even went to take a drug assessment over and over even after it was shown he doesn't have a problem. So my question is since it's his first violation do u think he may have to do the entire 23 well 18 years remaining on his current sentence?
