I've unscrewed the cap on the push-pull stopper. There is a half-moon shaped opening. Using a powerful flashlight, I don't even see a screw in which to insert a flat head driver, and there's not enough clearance in the opening to even turn the driver. Do I need some kind of special tool? What should be easy is turning out to be a pain in the butt!

Hi CT

Look under the stopper itself and see if there is a screw present (may almost need a compact mirror here). If so, unscrew it to remove the stopper.

If there is no screw, please post a couple pictures of the stopper... many different types out there (see just one example of so many out there below)... ;)

Yes, that's it. I had to use a dental style angled mirror to spot it, and a very small screw driver I could tilt to make contact with the head. I officially want it entered in the record that I place this design up there with all of teensy upside down screws holding in towel bars and vanity lights. What was the designer thinking? Thanks, Mark.
