I remember reading this book in high school but can't seem to remember it now... here's what I remember..

H and H met in high school but never hooked up even though H was interested. H was always very focused on career and trying to become something.. she never paid any attention to the guys in school

Years later they meet up at his father's house (I think) she maybe there to help his father sell his house or something? (can't remember much though) H, by this time, has been married and has a son. I think either his wife has passed away or they've gotten divorce.

Anyway, when they meet, H and h start talking/arguing about why she's there and H finally blurts out that he was interested in her and kisses her. After this, I think the h faints or something and when she wakes up, she goes through a personality change and become someone who actually relaxes and wants to enjoy life

The rest of the book is them falling in love and I think there maybe a side story with H's dad falling in love and getting married in the end.
Lastly the novels ends with H and h getting married and having a girl who they name joy.

If someone can help with this one, I'd really appreciate it... its been driving me crazy
