I was on depo for 4 years. I started August of 09 && never went back in for a shot since May of 2012. I didn't have a period at all in those 4 years of being on depo. I just recently got my period back May 2013. Me & my significant other are trying to conceive. I tracked my fertile days but I'm not sure if I'm ovulating . I just want to know is the depo completely out of me?

If you're tracking your fertile days, but not ovulation, how is that possible? Are you using an app to track when you're fertile? If so, they're useless. The only way to track ovulation accurately without tests, is to use a basal temperature reading every day, to track when you're ovulating.

If your period has resumed, it stands to reason that you are ovulating. Ovulation occurs before menstruation, the two go hand in hand. If you're menstruating, you're ovulating.

Yes I'm using a app. It's called "my days" . We've been trying to conceive since July . I thought the app would help, but I'm still not pregnant.

The app is more for fun, not for fact. Those apps go by the majority of women, in other words more than 50% of the women will likely ovulate on that day if their period is on this day. But even then, it's less than 50%.

The only way to track ovulation is by tracking your basal temperature. You can also try ovulation kits, but you'd have to take them daily and it can get expensive.

Your temperature rises slightly when you ovulate. That's what basal temperature tracks.

Having said that, you've been trying for 2 months. That's nothing. It takes the average couple 1-2 years to conceive once actively trying. So at this point I wouldn't worry at all.
