I need help. I found out I was pregnant on August 4th this year. I had sex with my boyfriend on sept 9th but I started spotting the next day. For 2 more days I spotted so I went to the er on Thursday night they took blood test and ultrasound. They said there was an empty Sac. It was a blighted ovum. They said for the next couple of days I will have heavy bleeding and cramping. But today I stopped spotting I never had Heavy bleeding or cramping . Just light spotting but it stopped. Was that a miscarriage or did they just misdiagnosed it?? Please . I took a pregnancy test and still positive

There's absolutely no way anyone online can tell you what's going on. They did an ultrasound, and they're medically trained. I'd be inclined to believe what they say.

As for the pregnancy test. Even after a miscarriage a pregnancy test will show up positive for weeks, sometimes months. The reason is that it takes a while for the body to be rid of the pregnancy hormone.

I'd get a second opinion, from a doctor, not online. There's really nothing anyone online can do to help. We can't even guess at what's going on.
