Hi there,
I'm from Philippines and I had an approved petition but I wasn't granted a visa due to a change of my status. My mom filed the petition when I was still single but I got married and later my marriage got annulled before my visa number was available.
I was interviewed at the US Embassy Philippines last December 2010, unfortunately I was denied when they found out that I got married. Even though my marriage was annulled, it still wasn't considered.
In the same year, my mom filed a new i130 for the second time and luckily, last month I received an approval letter but I'm still waiting for a feedback from the NVC.
My questions are:
1. Should I still wait for another 10 years to get my visa?
2. Shouldn't they reconsidering my first petition? Like the waiting time and considering I already have the visa number in my first petition?
3. What should I do now?
Thanks
Jesse
