Hi,

I have been having an awesome international relationship for some time now. Now the time has come where both of us have agreed to meet her family for a proposal; for an engagement.

As you can imagine, I have goose bumps, fear, confusion... etc... everything that comes with such a proposal.M

Some questions I have:

* How do I face her family? What type of attitude should I display? What will make them favour me?
* How do I get rid this nervousness, anxiety, fear?

* Other than "Love", what are some important things to consider before getting engaged... basically a check list.. "Have I covered that or this"...

Most of us believe in getting married just once, I'm trying to ensure that the decision I am making is a firm one.

Thanking you.

:)

Only you know whether this is the right thing for you.

Re: her family I guess be yourself, let them see what she likes in you and I'm sure they will approve of you too.
Show them that besides loving their daughter you value her, respect her and treasure her as a personl.

Good Luck and I hope it works out

Why contemplate how anyone else feels about your relationship? How the heck do you feel? You can't propose simply because it is expected, or is the next logical step. It has to be YOUR decision.

Be yourself and do what is best for you. Without a lot more info that's all I can add.
