I just bought a GFCI 5-way plug-in. When I opened it I noticed it has the 3 normal prongs but it also has an plastic prong a bit lower than the top one. How does this fit into any outlet? It doesn't! What's it for and what do I do about it? I've never seen this before.

Thanks!

If the "prong " has a hole in it, you put a screw through it and it goes through the middle hole in the wall plate. It keeps the plug from falling out. Mine has one like that.

Without a pic it is impossible to say.
