I am not the only one who has seen it. It always happens in my room. If I am away from the bed, I see it above the bed close to the ceiling. If in/on the bed, it happens on the wall in front of the bed. Majority of the time it happens at night time, although it has occurred during the day. It's very white and it happens as a flash in a vertical line position. My bedroom window is not near a highway, I have no fan in the ceiling, and it happens when the light of the bedroom is on and off.

At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but now it's happening more often and I'm not the only person in my house who has seen it. Your answer is greatly appreciated.

Greetings,

This vertical bright light, is it most intensive at the center point? Is always in the same position?

Have you seen any burn marks on the wall or ceiling? Do you have radiant heat in the ceiling?

My concern is that there is a short cable in the wiring. Or you are seeing a reflected light from outside the room. Does the room have a window with shades that can be closed.

Hi Donf,
I see it in the same place but yesterday it was seen going in the bathroom and then outside. Its like a straight line. The walls do not have anything on them. The window is always closed and there is nothing outside of my window.
