Me and a girl had plans for a date last night. An hr before she cancels with this exact text:

"Heyyyy. Kev. So Sorry. I have to make a trip home tonight. I'm not gonna be able to do that. But we will! "

I know she has three days off in a row so it could be a legitimate reason. I just don't get it because we've been talking and the day before she was all excited about it. We've both admitted that we think each other is cute. Should I be worried about this?

Ask her out again and be worried if she says no or has another excuse. I am guessing she will say yes.

It's normal to start thinking all kinds of things, but try to force yourself to take her at her word. The way she wrote sounds legit to me.
If you find out otherwise, THEN you can feel awful.
