I have been trying to.get pregnant for a little while now... The first time I thought I was pregnant becausey period was almost a month late and I was way emotional then normal.. Then I got my period out of no where kind of sad I wasn't pregnant so we decided to try again I bought ovulation test and found out I ovulated 17 days from the start of my last period. Had sex almost every day up to ovulation and after. Stared my.period a day earlier then expected then right.after my period ended took a pregnancy test just to see and it came out negative. But then my.boobs started to hurt and grow(never had this feeling before) the soreness went away after 2 weeks. Had sex up till I was about due for my period and it never came.. Im a week late and I have brown spotting today (again not normal) and its not a lot or constant. So I took a pregnancy test came out negative. So I'm not.really sure what to think... Just looking for advice maybe someone who went though similar stuff. (: Help.

It's best to test when you're at least 2 weeks late, and use first morning urine (your first pee of the day). False negatives are very common if you test too soon.

Wait another week, then test as suggested. If that test is negative, wait for your next period and if that's missed, test again or get a blood test done.

The spotting could very well be your period starting. Sadly, there's really no way to diagnose pregnancy online.
