I have been on my period for a couple of years now and are still having irregular periods. I can go 3-4months without having one then sometimes I only last around 2-3weeks! And when I do get them they last for 10-18days at least. Is this normal?

It does happen, you need to check with the doctor why it is happening to you. I had one friend that didn't have any for years and then she would then again not. She had low iron and other deficiencies. I had another that had long ones when she got them and her problem was something totally different

Ok thank you. Im just a bit worried because my sister had the same problem when she was my age and she went to the doctors and they told her she wouldn't be able to have children because she was in excruciating pain too she then had a lot of problems wrong and landed up being on the pill. If I went on the pill would this help with a more regular flow?
