Just wondering what all this means from a scan?
Current Gestation: 27+ weeks.
Growth.
Report: The foetus was in longitudinal lie and cephalic presentation. Liquor volume was normal. AFI 15cm. Placenta was anterior with the lower margin 5cm from the os.
BPD 6.7cm.
HC 23.9cm.
AC 23.2cm.
Femur length 5cm.
Estimated foetal weight 1046 grams.
The growth parameters are around the mean for the expected gestation excepting the head circumference which is slightly reduced below the mean. Foetal cardiac and somatic activity was observed. There was a low resistance flow the umbilical vessels with continuous forward flow throughout diastole and no flow reversal. SD ratio 3 was just below the mean.
