Can I use a garbage disposal with a bamboo sink?

I wouldn't. Too heavy!
As someone who hates garbage disposers for all sorts of reasons including 'green' ones, I wonder why you would want one with a bamboo sink. I get along fine without one, save money, trouble, more room under sink, and have compost. What I can't compost goes in a bag in the freezer until I get to the dump.
If you live in a city, my apologies. I still would get along without one.

I figured I should look... I'm on a mission to rid the world of disposers. Call me crunchy.

I did not even know that bamboo sinks existed, never mind about fitting a garbage disposer to one.But I do now I guess.

Who wears underwear? Go green (go naked).

I wear underwear. I'll bet you do too.
I didn't in the 60s.
Now I'm in my 60s.
I only started to be down on disposers about 4 years ago, when mine died.
I thought I had a eureka moment, something new.
I went online, and lo and behold, I discovered that there are communities that actually don't allow them!

"I went online, and lo and behold, I discovered that there are communities that actually don't allow them!" AHA- the GD police! What do they do check your plumbing?

Yes, I were underwear. I have to, even I don't want to see me. I shower in the dark to avoid seeing me.

Probably new construction permits...
Anyway, it's growing. Sewage plants don't want food in the sewage. Landfills don't want it in the garbage. Many big cities rule on commercial disposers only. New York City restaurants can't have them, whereas all Mass restaurants with 20+ seats have to have them. As for landfills:
"The European Union already restricts the disposal of organic waste in landfills. Connecticut and Vermont are both phasing in bans on landfilling food scraps, beginning with large-scale producers of food waste, such as markets and school campuses. Massachusetts is on the verge of adopting a similar ban.."

SF is the biggest city so far to aim for 'zero waste' by law. Yep, put your crusts down the disposer and they come and get you. Composting is mandatory, even in the heart of the city, for everyone. I think they have bins.

I shower in the dark AND with my eyes closed.
If someone saw me naked, I'd have to shoot'm.

How about glow in the dark bamboo underwear? Not sure why, but I had a GID tee shirt that I liked to sleep in and it would scare me when I got up in the dark.
