Does anyone know I need to vent a saniflo can I tie into the vent stack? Or do I have to go above everything into attic where pipe goes through roof. Can I run a pipe through basement wall as last resort ? Will it have to be above eves on house?? Thanks

Hi CRConley

The saniflo system can be vented into the existing plumbing vent system. Heck, it can be tied into the sink vent or any other vent, but be sure to connect it into the vent system at a minimum of 42" off the floor.

Saniflo has great pictures on its website... ;)

For saniflo Ok Mark about tieing in with sink vent. If I can do that why would I need a separate line for a vent since the sink line is vented or a line runs off it to the pipe that runs through the roof? So I assume I do have to run a line or pipe just for the vent. Can you tie it in where there can be liquids running through at times? Say next toilet or sink from upstairs... Thanks

Did you look at the link I posted? Simply scroll down like 1 or 2 pages and you can see exactly how they suggest piping this all up.

You said, "So I assume I do have to run a line or pipe just for the vent". You assume wrong here... ;) Connect the saniflo vent into the sink vent at a minimum of 42" off the floor and there should be no "liquids running through at times".

Back to you...
