I am going to finish my basement and I want to put a full bath down there as well as relocate my washer and dryer from the first floor to the basement. My house has a hung sewer. I have been told that I will need an injector pump. Will the shower and/or washing machine be too much load on an injector pump? Is this going to be possible to do?

You will need to estimate how many gallons per minute that you will be discharging at a given time to size out the holding tank and the capacity of the grinder pump but, yes, it's definitely possible. This will be major surgery and involve more then one trade. It is not a "weekend project" for the average home owner. Having said that. How may I help you? Regards, Tom
