I've been with my boyfriend for 7 months and it's been great. Things are perfect when were together and he's caring, nice attractive etc. He left to go to University at the start of this year so we only see each other every second weekend sometimes more. Usually while he's away things are the same as when we see each other but lately I feel like I'm losing feelings, literally over night! All I want is to be with him, maybe it's because he goes to the pub more often? I want us to stay together but it's getting harder and I'm too afraid to tell him because I don't want to hurt him. Please help?

I don't think he'd be so hurt, and if it's the truth, you can't lie to him. He's the one spending more time elsewhere, not you... doesn't that sound like a sign that he isn't quite the same either? Two young people, one away at school - almost never lasts. You can't spend these years only seeing the one you love only 1/20 the time.

You need to tell him. Nobody wants to be with someone who questions whether they still care. You've only been together 7 months and you are not seeing each other as often, losing feelings in this instance is normal. Just be honest. He may be feeling the same way.

First be honest with yourself, know what you want, and then be honest with him. Even the best of us have a hard time with long distance and weekend relationships.

I think you should wait a little and if you totally loose interest then you dump him it may be hard but the longer you wait the harder it gets
