My hubby and I just got a new house, so we celebrated. I had one double shot of cheap vodka and two cans of budlight, of which I didn't drink the bottom. I found out I will be having a " e... somethin or other" urine test weds. Morning, this happened between around 4 & 8 pm Monday evening. I drink socially every other evening, but not so much lately. I am almost 5 ft. 4 in. female, and weigh 118 pounds. Please, tell me I will be OK.. purty, purty, PURTYYYY PLEASE. The sooner the better. Thanks SOOOOOOO much!

What happens if you FAIL ?Well, I am a recovering addict, ( pain killers) , Tree years clean.. YYAAAAAYYYYYY, but, I do like my beer, and an occasional shot, as a mother of four, at bedtime, got to unwind somehow. I currently am going through counciling and have been told by others that if I fail, I will be released from the program! I was weak, and won't make the same mistake twice. Please give me good news. I have been drinking water, but don't want to drink too much & look suspicious. I do tend to have a high metabolism. Good news, I figured it would be around 38 hours from last beverage to test. And I sweat like a Russian racehorse! Lol. Like I said, a double of cheap vodka & two beers. :/.

It's close so it could go either way... you say you celebrated getting a house as if it was a one time thing but then you say you drink every other night... if you don't fail this time around, it is going to happen sooner or later.

EDIT- in your follow up you indicate that you drink often but shortly after, you claim you were weak and won't make that mistake again. You can't have it both ways. It really doesn't matter what we think... it's what you think... and how you handle yourself. Learn from this or pay the price later.

Understand, Struggling with it. Meant to say WAS A DAILY, HEAVY, LIQUOR ONLY drinker, trying to tapper off to little to no liquor or a Couple of beers. My hubby thinks because I WAS a hard core drinker, and sloed down so drastically, that Mabie my metabolism, and or tolerance may have as well. I greatly appriciate any help, just please don't judge and make me feel smaller than I do, I do that to myself as is. Just need as much peace of mind as anyone is willing to bless me with. 38 hours is going to make it tough to pass. Most experts say it's closer to 80 before you'll pass an ETG. In other words, if you pass you'll be really lucky.

Being a hard core drinker in the past will not have any effect on this test. Your tolerance for alcohol won't have any effect on this test. The ETG tests for alcohol in your system, not your tolerance to alcohol.

I'm sorry, but I really can't give you the peace of mind you're looking for. Based on what you wrote, it's unlikely that you'll pass the test. If you do, it will be pure luck.
