Let me start of saying that I have two boys, a two year old and a 2 1/2 month old. My older son was super excited about having a baby brother for the first couple of weeks and then he started to get jealous. I was expecting some jealousy with this but now it seems like it's an almost everyday occurrence and is getting more violent. He tries to throw things at him, kick at him and his dad and I spend "special" or quality time with just him so he's not feeling left out. I praise him when he is being loving and kind to his brother and time outs when he is not but this does not seem to be improving the situation. I am lost in what else to do...
Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

He has very big anger issues, you need to get him help. My son was like that in 1990 through 2001. Now that he is grown he is handling it better. It will destroy your family if he does not get it dealt with

Who do you go to? The pediatrician or someone else? So confused...

I would talk to your pediatrician and see if he can give you a referral. It may take a while to find someone, or something, that can help him with this. Start with the doctor that knows him best, and then ask to be referred to a specialist.

Good luck.
