I have a Murray riding mower with a locked engine and would like to replace the engine with one that came off a Lowe's mower. They are both 14.5 hp OHV mowers and their model numbers are similar but not exact. It appears that the engine will mount OK and I am hoping the only difference is in the pulleys. Is this correct or will they not work for other reasons? Thanks.

As long as shaft sizes are the same [which most likely they are] your good to go-- Savage
