I'm 16 and have been dating this guy for a while. Before him I hadn't ever messed around with guys or been sexually active. About a month ago he fingered me for the first time and I bled some, he's fingered me several times since then and I've still bled a little. It doesn't hurt and stops pretty fast. Last week we had sex for the first time, we used a condom, and I didn't notice any bleeding. A few days later we had sex again, and I bled again. Several days after that my vagina was a bit sore and when we tried to have sex it kind of hurt. Is this normal? Is it happening because I'm a virgin and my body isn't used to it? My boyfriend said it could just be my hymen, but I don't know since I'm not a pro at any of this.

Ask him to cut his nails before such foreplay, and possibly wash his hands. His nails are obviously scratching your vaginal walls, if it is new blood you are seeing. This can also cause bacterial vaginosis which means dirty hands and fingernails are placing bad bacteria in your vagina and interrupting the Ph level.

'Because you are a virgin and your body isn't used to it'. Girl if you know so little, you need to educate yourself, or stop having sex until you are older and better educated.

I think you had better look up 'condoms'
