2001 kia sephia turns over just fine but no fire getting to the coils or fuel pump, have replaced the fuel pump with a new one, if I run a jumper to the fuel pump circit it will come on but still no fire to the coils, I have been told there is a sensor that shuts these circits down in the case of an accident but I have no idea where to find these sensors or what there called.

. Check for codes and/or pending codes, using an advanced scan tool.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.

. Focus on the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the ECM, if the problem persists. The ECM's internal coil drivers control spark.

I doubt that the Inertia Switch, even if your KIA has one, is the problem.
