Just got oil, filter, and air filter changed at Nissan Dealer for 2007 Quest. Seems like engine light just wasn't reset after the maintenance was done. Am I correct? Took it back the next day and the dealership told me it could either be loose gas cap or vacuum leak. They recommended doing an evap smoke test. After just spending $100 on maintenance I can't afford it. So, they just reset the check engine light. Is it okay to still drive my vehicle?

If it's really an EVAP or just a maintenance light that they reset, sure, drive it. If it is an EVAP and it wasn't just a loose gas cap, it will be back in a few days but won't cause any harm.

Really though, with what you told us, there isn't much we can say. There is a code that goes with Check Engine Lights and to tell you for sure, we would need to know what the code was.

The code was 455

P0455 is the EVAP system. It is for emissions and you probably won't even notice a difference if it's on.

Thanks for the quick response! I will watch for next few days to make sure light doesn't come back on. You saved my mind a lot of worrying. Thanks again and God Bless You
