I suffer from anger problems and depression. I just broke up with my girlfriend, because of my problem. I don't realize I am doing it until it is to late, until I hurt somebody emotionally. Then it is to late to fix it. My ex girlfriend and I talked for a little while after our break up, until the other night. We got into a big fight which half of it I don't remember what it was about, and now she won't except my calls. I remember telling her I was going to kill myself and that I was going to do it in front of her. I started hearing voices now and that scares me. I just don't know what to do anymore. I miss my ex a lot and I want her back in my life. She also tells me I have to take care of myself. So what should I do?

Have you considered counseling? You may feel hesitant about it-but you'll be amazed at what counseling can do for you. I would recommend going to your regular doctor and he or she can lead you in the right direction. Don't worry, there is hope for you-you just need to get out there and find it. Don't worry about your ex right now. You need to focus on yourself. You need to feel good about yourself and get better before you can worry about other people. If you don't exercise, I strongly recommend it. It's hard to get started, but once you do it's hard to stop and that is a good thing. I feel sooooo much better after excercising-it is therapy for me. I personally like the eliptical. Remember you aren't alone. There are a lot of people who have been in your situation and have gotten help and are fine now. It just takes time and you're worth all the time in the world. You also might want to look into supplements that can help with your mood. These are just my personal opinions.

I would like to add that there is nothing wrong with taking medications, just be sure to research them yourself, (true with almost any thing), I have had very good results with( life changing) Welibutrin, but it is expensive. I have at times in the past had preaty good results with STjohns wort, And it is very cheap. My sister has good things to say about Sam-E.
If you go the pharmalogical rout just watch out for over medicating, Dr.s Always think too much is better than not enough.
