I am a lesbian with two kids, and I been with a woman for 16 years, we have kids together. But due to her job, she was never home. When she did come home, it was all about the kids, and I was fine with that for the 14 yrs. Until she decided she wanted to live the single life, so I left the relationship first so I can find someone to love me. Well I did but this woman could not stand my kids. So she left me. Is this karma?

I hate the fact that everyone says be patient, it will come. Finding someone shouldn't be this hard. I think its because I have certain expectations, the usual, no drugs, commitment, hard worker, and funny. Im so cool as a parent, a friend and companion.. Where do I go from here. The loneliness is killing me.

"I hate the fact that everyone says be patient,"

What are your choices? If you force it, it will not seem real, geniune, and eventually end. So let it happen naturally.

I dated my boyfriend 2.5 years (along with others) before I finally committed to an exclusive relationship. I am glad I did because it is the most perfect relationship I've ever had. We didn't force it from the beginning.

We have all been through breakups and have survived. You will as well. There are things you can do to meet people. Join a gym, join a club, take up a new hobby, take up tennis lessons, etc.
