I'm concerned that there is a spirit following me and has moved on to my soon to be 3yr old son. Since I was about 8 I have had things happen that could not be explained. Things moving on their own or being flung about the room, scratching on my closet doors, and have even seen a little girl wandering the hallway in my old apartment. In every house I have lived in something eerie has happened. My son is now telling me there is a guy in his room. He won't go to sleep because he stays up and speaks to this guy. When I ask him where the guy is he points to somewhere different all the time. I have even felt cold spots, had chills and have gotten dizzy in his room. Only his room. I wasn't concerned about this "guy" being harmful until tonight when I heard my son start yelling "stop, no stop". When I asked him what happened he said the guy tried hurting his BoBo (my sons stuffed animal he's extremely attatched to). Now I worry and I don't know what to do. Is this a sign a spirit is following us. And if so what do we do?

My suggestion is that you call in a clergyman.

Spirits very often move from parent to child... often staying in a family for generations. It's not always so much that a person has DONE something to inherit a spirit like this other than they simply aren't protected against such things. This may have started in your old home and latched on to you or it may have been in your family for some time without you knowing it... even in families, this subject isn't openly discussed.

Judy is right though, you need to speak with a spiritually mature Christian to help with this. It's simple enough just to recommend you to speak with a local pastor. Denominations and such don't really matter, though some understand this subject much better than others do. I always recommend trying to find a Full Gospel church first. These spirits are not human ghosts.
