My blades on my John Deere L120 quit working. I found a broken wire from the connector on the PTO (cluch), NOT the switch on the dash. It is located on the front of the cluch and I am not sure how the connector can be removed to be able to re-install the wire.
I have removed the mower deck and can get my hand on the connector but I am not sure how to disconnect the connector.

Many connector have 1 or 2 places to press a release to allow disconnecting.
Work back and forth as well.

Hi,
On half of the connector will have a tab the connects to a ramped tit on the other half. Pry the tab enough to unlatch and wiggle the halves to separarte. You say the wires are in the front? They should be on the right! Has the clutch stay on the left side broken or come off? This would allow the clutch to rotate and tear the wires; two different wiring harnesses and clutch stays were on the L120 A link to JDParts is:
