We are on his second surgery to close his hairlip which includes his nose. We fear this 2nd surgery will come apart as he jumps around even though he is confined to an exercise pen. Has anybody ever successfully closed their dogs hairlip. Can you provide details, how did you confine your puppy? What was the secret to success. How many failures before you succeeded. We are leaving the cleft palate alone as it is not severe.
