I am 17. I am on a light birth control Loloestra FE or something like that. I get my period twice a month with it and I've been taking it for two months. Is it still effective if this happens? I also have sex with my boyfriend quite frequently and we get rough sometimes. We always use a condom though, usually durex lifestyle or Trojan charged. Today he hit my cervix a lot and it felt good but when I got home I was bleeding. However I'm supposed to start my period today anyway and I've been cramping and moodswingy the past few days as usual per the few days before my period starts. Is this my period starting?

I turn 18 in 3 months anyway so hopefully I won't have to let my parents know but I'm scared this could up my life, my future, my finances, my relationship, my family, everything important to me.

Btw I would also like to know the second question I asked; whether the birth control pill is still effective if I'm getting my period twice a month. You should know at least that if you're an 'expert'. Then again I have no clue abou anything on this site so correct me if I'm wrong xP
