So he broke up with me about two months ago, and I was pretty upset about that. After all, we had been dating for about two years. So I decided after about a week that I should try to move on. It really hasn't worked too well. Recently I've been really sad about it. I really want to get back together with him.
He's been popping up in my dreams every night and I can't control it. I haven't talked to him since we broke up. I've heard that being all happy and being in control of your emotions, showing him that you can have a functional life without him, can potentially get him to come back to you, but I don't know if it will work for me. I guess I really just want to know how I should go about getting him back if that is what I decide I want to do.
I've heard all there is to hear about getting good memories about how it used to be and running back on a knee-jerk reaction. I've also heard a lot about how you should really consider what made the break up happen and if its really a good idea to try and fix it.
Trust me, I've put a lot of thought into all of this, I've had a lot of time to think. Truth is, I don't think that anything terrible happened, we just hit a bad spell and it was a stressful time of year anyway and all the bad things happened at the worst time, and that's what caused him to want to break up.
Advice would be fantastic thanks.
