I live in Cranbrook B.C. and I just bought a house scheduled to move in next month. The service is only 60 amp and I wasn't made aware of this till I did a walk through after the deal was done (I did a preinspection). Now my realtor is saying is is not their fault that it was my responsibility.
Is this true? I may be stuck with a $1000.00 bill.

I moved a copy of this question over to real estate law, as this is more of a law issue than an electrical problem. I will leave the question here as you may get some good answers.

Personally, I would suggest checking with your attorney that performed the closing to learn what your rights are and what liability you have.
