I saw this movie in high school in the 1980's. The movie was about gangs and was shown as an intervention, prevention, and awareness for children. It had dancing from beginning to end and the name of it had "Street" in it. The movie had a love scene in which through a gang fight ends up tragically. Need the name of it. Broadway was inspired by this production Play Central. Beautiful!
