I'm a 39 year old female, I have mitral valve regurgitation and a couple of month ago I was diagnose with mild pulmonary hypertension, I have been having chest pain for a couple of days now that comes and go and radiates to my right arm and have been with shortness of breath. Today I woke up with sharp chest and left arm pain. Have not go to the ER as I'm afraid they might say is in my head or is anxiety which the ER doctors do. Should I wait to speak to my Dr or should I go to the ER and not wait should I take it seriously?

You should go to the ER. Mitral valve issues are nothing to sneeze at. Chest pain and shortness of breath are medical emergencies.

You have a medial history that suggests immediate medical attention.
