How did you come up with the $600 figure? A guess?

You say you want to be an accountant, but you've posted 11 separate questions about accounting, apparently all of them homework. Why are you having so much difficulty? Bad with numbers and figures? Bad textbooks? Something else?

It's posted AMHD policy not to do homework - if you post your answer, how you reached it, then someone will come along to help you. I don't know that having me do your homework helps you learn anything - that's why the policy is what it is.

As a side thought, don't all accountants work with numbers? What type of accounting do you plan to do?

How did you get the answer "600"?

Employer work week is 38-hour .Under Federal law , employee should not be paid for hours worked between 39 and 40 hours provided that his pay for the week divided by the hours he worked at least equals the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour effective July 24, 2009.

$300/38=$7.89 Hourly rate is more than minimum wage per hour rate

Therefore for week 1 38(7.89) =$300
Week 2 38(7.89)=$300

Total pay for both week is $600
