I have a regular menstral cycle of exactly 28 days. I got my period as planned on September 14th. On September 15th I had sex with guy 1 during my period. I had sex with guy two two weeks after my period began (September 29th). The ultrasound at 6 weeks said I conceived sometime around September 28th judging by my last period. Is there any chance at all the guy #1 could be the father?

50/50... Congrats, you have to tell them both... because they both have to take DNA tests to find out who the lucky father is. THey will both be pleased.

You are aware any guess they make on concieving is based on fetal development... (meaning size) and is only an eduicated guess that is roughly 2 weeks before to 2 weeks after in range... meaning they can only guess to roughly a month long window of time. Not even a Gypsy Fortune teller can tell you what day or week it happened. And no doctor can either.

Okay any other educated answers?

What... one you want to hear... or the one I gave which is accurate? Medical science can only guess within a 4 week period when it happened...

That means in your case... nobody can know who the father is until DNA testing is done after its born.

Its NOT an exact science... the only people that will know exactly when it happened had an In-vitro procedure. And even if it was the only time they ever had sex in their life.. they could only know to about a week... (it doesn't always happen that day).

Yes but you do realize there is only a small window of when a female is fertile each month which is usually 12-16 days after your period.

Yes but you do realize there is only a small window of when a female is fertile each month which is usually 12-16 days after your period.

Do YOU realize you have no idea WHEN those days are unless you have been keeping a daily Basal temprature chart for at least the last year. Because you can't know when you ovulate... a woman doesn't "know" when it happens and she can't "feel" when it happens... as the egg is microscopic in size and there are no symptoms when the egg is released.

And all women do not ovulate at the same day of their cycle. They vary quite a bit.

You can't excuse away the fact.. the Doctors guess will not be any better than a plus or minus two week window until there is a major medical breakthrough. In the future.. they might be able to do better... but today that's the best they can do.

Just get the DNA test done after the birth... there is no other way to know whose it was.

Smoothy is correct. You will have to get DNA testing done after the baby is born in order to determine who the father is.

When are your highest chances of getting pregnant if you have a regular 28 day menstral cycle? When are you most fertile?

Every woman is different, and each woman's fertility time can change from month to month depending on stress or sickness or mental illness or meds or nutrition or whatever might be affecting her body (i.e. the reproductive system is not independent of any of her other systems).

I could set a watch by my periods, but it took me two years to get pregnant, no matter how well I timed and arranged sexual opportunities.

When you have a regular 28-29 day menstral cycle, what are the chances of concieving during your period? Is it true you most likely to be most fertile 14-17 days after your period starts?

How do you detect when you are fertile?

Your question has been answered, there is a chance guy #1 is the father. While it is more likely to be guy #2, there is no way to be certain without having a paternity test done AFTER the child is born.

None of this matters - the DNA results are the proof.

Nothing can be done until the child is born.
