My husband has worked for the same company for the past fifteen yrs, name has changed several times because of his health issues he was transferred backhome too Colorado. He was laid off on. 3-20-2013. We filed vor Colorado
Unemployment on. 5- 6 -2013 but alll his earnings were in Arkansas so does my husband forgo co and file Arkansas unemployment. He can't collect from two different states correct.

Whose name has changed? Your husband's or the company's?

I think there is a period missing in that sentence.
You file in CO if you were actually transferred there by the company. But you should have an answer very soon if not today, if you gave copies of the paperwork for the layoff to the UI office.
You are correct that you don't file anywhere else.

He just files, where he is living, the unemplooyment office will decide what type of case it is. It will depend where the last few quarters of earnings were. It may be done as a Interstate claim, but can still be done from the local office
