I have a j-pouch since 2008. But for the last week I can not eat solids cause everything gets stuck. I'm also have nausea vomiting constapation with headaches and my left eye is floating and I can not look straight on with out everything coming together. It is causing my stomach to be bloated at all times. I have been taking laxatives for the last 3 nights but nothing is happening. I am passing some gas but not much. If I close my left eye I can see a lot better then when both of them are open. I am thirsty all the time and it seems like I never get enough to drink. I only drink water cause every thing else causes to many problems. I'm hungry all the time because it feels like nothing is getting to my stomach. I'm not urinating as much as I am drinking. I'm drinking about 10 to 12 16.9 fl oz of water a day and only urinating 1 to 2 times a day. At times I sleep really well and others I can not sleep at all. I have no fever but I get really cold or extremely hot.
My concern is are they related or am I having symptoms for 2 different things. I spend a lot of time in the hospital and I don't want to go unless I absolutely have to.
Do people who have the j-pouch experience all of these problems. Or is this something else.

What has your doctor said about all this?

I have not called him yet. I was hoping that it would just go away but its not.

Your eye has nothing to do with constipation.

You have a prefab pouch inside your body to replace your large intestine and I really don't think you know how all of this works. Don't think you should be taking laxatives.

You should be in the hospital if you are having this much difficulty. We cannot help you here. You must call your doctor.
