My friend went to the doctors yesterday for a spider bite and they gave her some antibiotics but today at school she had to leave because she didn't feel good. She told me that she feels the same way as she did yesterday. So I was wondering if there's anything I can get over the counter to make her feel better? I don't like seeing her not feeling good so I was wondering if you might know of something that would help her.

The good news is that you can't die from a single Black Widow bite... the bad news is that you will probably feel sick from it for a few days.

How did the doctor know it was from a Black Widow? Unless he saw the spider, I can't see how he could possibly have known what kind of spider it was. I know people that can get just as sick from a Wolf Spider.

Anyway, if your friend got treated, she will be OK.

I don't know. I wasn't there and she's the type that won't tell you anything you got to pull it out if her. But thanks for helping me out with that. I really appreciate it.
