I was called by US embassy to submit the passport as my B1/B2 visa is cancelled and need to reapply. When I asked the reason of cancelation, the officer was not aware but said as they received instruction from Washington to cancel my VISA and just advised me to reapply. I already travelled on that visa 3 times with staying not more than 2 weeks each time I entered US. I am traveling to US over 13 years on business trips.

Last year I opened my business marketing branch office in US and partnered US citizen and invested money in the company. The business some how didn't work and I decided to close that brach office and opened a new branch in other state. Did that cause the reason of my VISA cancellation? Please advice.

Length of stay and note written on I-94 play a big role here. You probably overstayed and not aware of it.

You should formally contact the consulate and demand the answer, then you will know.

Thanks for your feedback. I personally went to the consulate to understand the reason but they were not aware of the situation and asked me to re apply.

I am always getting 6 month of stay on I-94 and leave within 2 weeks, and I am 100% sure about it.
