My daughters father is dictating to me that I cannot have my boyfriend in my home after my daughter goes to sleep. My ex's concerns are because of the past with my boyfriend and his problems with alcohol. My boyfriend is in AA and has been sober for 23 days. My ex is saying that I can't have my boyfriend around my daughter until he is 90 days sober. Does he have the right to say that? And is there anything he can do about it?

The answer is maybe. Without knowing what type of custody you have, its impossible to say.

The girl's father has a right to be concerned about his daughter's welfare. While he may not be able to dictate how you live your life, is you do things that put your daughter at risk, he may be able to use those things to get primary custody or limit your visitation.

This will depend on any clauses in the child custody agreement. Normally he can not dictate, but to be blunt, a man who is only 23 days sober is not sober yet, * and even a maybe at 90 days

I am assuming other problems when drunk. So why do you want this type of man around daughter to start with

Your daughter's father cannot dictate to you. Assuming you are complying with the terms of the custody order, his only option would be to ask the court to modify that order.
