Hello Doctor,

I had unprotected anal sex in year 2006 after which I got myself tested for HIV and STD both showed negative, but that was one month after the activity, so I again rewent for HIV tests and the results again showed negative.

Mean while, I have symptoms like pink and dark violet veins inside my penis appearing at times. I showed skin specialist he said it's a vein and no need to worry. But it occasionally pains.

In 2011, I had develop rashes inside the foreskin of my penis which was very itchy. Skin Specialist gave me T Bact cream as well as anti fungal cream. Problem got cleared in couple of days. I was also given Antibiotics for Bacterial infections if any. I got myself tested with VDRL (sypihilis) and also diabetic tests done. Both were negative. Also doctor told me to do urine tests, which showed normal reports.

Now, I am bit scared with symptoms like pain in penis at times and occasional dark violet turning veins in my penis.

Please help me and make me stress and depression free.

Go see a proper doctor and tell him your issues and what you did. How many negative tests do you need? There are many causes for rashes and such.

But seriously regardless of the situation do not have unprotected sex unless you are in a relationship and both have been tested. It isn't worth the risk.

I am sure I won't commit anything as such.

But do you think I should test for STI/STD after 6-7 years?

My mind don't allow me to work, be social. I cry at times. I need a genuine assistance.

Will you be satisfied without the tests? My guess is no. So put your mind at ease, be truthful with the doctor, and get tested.

I doubt it. You are stressed because you are worried. Stress can make us emotionally unstable. Once you get the results back, you will probably calm down.

But should I go for tests? If not required I won't

To put your mind at ease yes go for medical tests especially if you have had additional unprotected sex. It doesn't have to be anal either. Once you get your negative results, then learn how to relax and not worry so much.
