I'm 13 and in 7th Grade. I feel like I'm never satisfied but can't figure out why. I am pretty popular, I'm the best athlete in my school, and I have a sexy girlfriend who's crazy about me. I always feel busy and I enjoy sports but I want more. I am the starting Quarterback on my Football team and last year I took us to the Championship where we lost a close game. I play up in Basketball and still average 20-10-5 but we lost in the Playoffs and in a game with terrible refs and I was ejected. In Baseball we are in the playoffs and I play up a grade and I want to win. I don't just want to play sports I want to win. My older brother is an unbelievable athlete and plays in the NFL. He told me I shouldn't want to win, I should expect to win. Those losses stick to my ribs but overall I feel proud of myself when it comes to sports because I can honestly say there are few if any atheletes as good as me. I make good grades in school and I have a good relationship with ny parents and twin brother. I sometimes take my frustrations out on Kollin but we are really close. I have a strong belief in Christ and I don't understand why I feel like I should be happier. I feel good with me for me but I don't have that natural happiness others have. Why am I not happier?

You're not happy because your beginning your teenage years and your dramatic. You seem a little cocky, but at least you're self assured. Maybe you don't have happiness because you're a perfectionist and feel compared to your brother. It also could be because you haven't had enough bad expirences or tragedies to compare your happiness too. It seems like your big rescission in life as of now is where to pass the ball net or when to shoot. Many kids don't know whether they should tell someone because their being neglected or abused, don't have enough food to eat and aren't sure if asking for hand outs is honorable. Some kids have family member with illnesses or have the
Themselves. Some kids just have simple regular family issues. So that could be a reaso why , however I don't know your life, or who you are so you could have had these expirences. I am not trying to judge.
Hope I helped

"It seems like your big rescission in life as of now is ..."
What does this mean?

You need to have balance in your life. Only you can find balance and it won't come from sports alone. Don't get me wrong, I love sports and I hate to lose as well. But in sports and in life there will be losses and if you have balance in your life, then you will handle those things better.
Hormones don't help. At 13 you're in hormone hell and it does play mind games. But we all survive hormone hell and you will as well.
You know there was a point in my life where I felt the same way and I decided there were people and other things far worse off than me. So I decided to volunteer at the dog shelter and take care of unwanted animals. It put life in perspective for me and I love those wagging tails. Try it, it is worth it.
