Today I took half of a 50 mg vyvanse at about noon by swallowing the pill with the remaining powder inside. Around 3:30-4 I could feel myself coming down and took another 1/2-3/4 of another 50 mg vyvanse. Stupidly, I also drank half of a 5 hour energy shortly after. I then was in an exam for about two hours and the prolonged sitting still and constant grip on my pencil caused the tip of my thumb to tingle and become mostly numb. It has been about 12 hours since taking it, and I was wondering if there was any time span which I could anticipate complete feeling to return.
I am not subscribed vyvanse and am not a regular user.
I have iced it to try and increase blood flow and circulation but it didn't help much

Okay... just to clarify, what are you icing to come down?

And why would you take an amphetamine that you weren't prescribed with an energy drink?

I think it's supposed to last 12-13 hours with a full pill, so because you took each half so close together we'll say you took a full pill. Add that to the energy drink and your intolerance for the drug, and I'd say you'll be feeling a bit funny for at least a few more hours. Unfortunately, there isn't any other way to make it wear off quicker except to wait.

If you feel like your heart is beating too fast, or like you're out of breath, you should probably go to the ER. Also, it's probably best NOT to do any exercise for the next few hours.

OP was icing his thumb to restore circulation. Icing it will not restore circulation, it will deter it.

Huh? I've never heard of that. Weird.
