I'm in 10th grade, and there is this girl in 11th grade who is in my chemistry class who I like. I have heard from one of my 11th grade sources that there are a bunch of girls in 11th grade in my classes who like me(I don't know who). Anyway, this girl sits in front of me and has recently started calling me "cute"(she says things like "you are so cute") every day. She also compliments me in other ways ("you are perfect or so smart").The weird thing is that she is surprisingly open about it. This Monday she said in front of a group of (11th grade) friends that she loves me (I was part of the group).
Every once in a while she stares at me, or starts a conversation with me about me in class.We never hang out or anything, but she does enjoy talking to me in class. And also about my self:
I am OK with talking to girls, but I've never had a girlfriend I have many friends but none which I'm especially close to who I am comfortable enough with that I can tell my secrets.
Does she think I'm cute or that I'm boyfriend material? Also I don't know whether she is single how do I find out without asking her or her friends? I really have no idea what I should be doing right now.

What might be a way to find that out? I'm not good friends with any of her friends. And also, all her friends are in 11th so its kind of weird to talk about personal things to them

I don't know what to tell you. I think she is just being friendly. Why don't you ask her If she has a boyfriend?

If you talk in class then ask her directly if she has a boyfriend. But be cautious and make sure you know what your dealing with. Is that 11th grade source trustworthy? Is the girl trustworthy.

Compliments don't mean good intentions, so don't get carried away by receiving them.
