Hi there, I have a 14 month old pit bull puppy. Over the weekend I noticed that he had a runny tummy and there was blood and worms in it. After a day or 2 I went to the pharmacy and got him something. It continued the following day and he started vommiting and getting week, that's when I took him to the vet who gave him 3 injections, whitish powder to drink and told me to buy coke and make him drink it together with the powder. He is not getting better, the vet said to return the following day if there is no change. I make him drink the coke but he vommits it all out after that, he is not eating anything and is getting weak. What cold be the cause of this? Its been 5 days now and I'm worried about my baba. It can't be parvo, otherwise the vet would have told me. Vets are expensive & he told me the treatment will take about 7 days to work, should I take puppy back or wait for the 7 days? So confused

Yes, owning/caring for a pet is expensive. What did you buy at the pharmacy and give to the dog? "Human medication" is very often harmful to dogs, sometimes fatal.

He's sick - call the Vet.

It's part of the cost of owning a dog.

Did the Vet test him for Parvo?
