Hi! I'm 13 years old and 145 pounds:( I really hate going shopping with my friends because they can try on anything and it will fit as to where I will go to a store and find something I really like and it either doesn't look good on me or they don't have my size (size medium). I have tried to lose weight for a while now because I have been overweight my whole life and I'm getting tired of it. I am in softball, volleyball. Basketball, and track so its not like I sit around the couch all day and just eat. This whole year I hate myself even more every time I look down at my belly. I don't eat breakfast or lunch and when I started doing (at the beginning of the school year) that it didn't change anything and I just keep gaining weight... So if you have any ideas that could help me lose weight please help!!

"Only" 13? It's easier to lose weight the younger you are.
I was just like you - I skipped breakfast and lunch, and that's the worst thing you can do. You want more calories earlier in the day than later. There's a saying 'Eat like a king in the morning, prince at lunch, and pauper at supper.'
What's the school lunch payment arrangement? When I was young I was given cash each morning to pay for it, so I kept it and didn't eat. If you don't pay, your parents are paying in taxes, and you really should eat a good healthy lunch.
I'll bet by the time you get home you are starving, and start munching before dinner and after?
Dieting is hard work and discipline. Now that I'm old and retired (and constantly hungry), I am trying a plan of eating tiny meals every 3 hours. You can't do that in school, but have a breakfast of good multi-grain cereal and fruit, good lunch, and a tiny container of dinner leftovers when you get home, dinner, and NOTHING after dinner. That will make you hungrier for breakfast. Stay away from breads and of course all sweets.
