Hello,
I was just accepted to an Ontario College and am looking for help with the next step. I have been doing a lot of research and I have figured some things out, but a lot is still a mystery.
My questions include:
1. I know I can apply online but also I can apply at the Port-of-Entry which is faster and or more helpful?
2. I am going to get my family to sign affidavits of support to both show support and ties back to the states. I have found some outlines online and I can probably put one together myself (unless you have one available). I am wondering if my family need to sign it in front of a lawyer? Also what documentation should I have them provide to show that they can support me (I was thinking of just asking if they would send me a copy of last years tax forms)?
3. On one website it said that I should show strong ties to the US to show that I am willing and able to go back after I graduate. What are some good examples of this (besides my family writing affidavits of support)?
Thanks for your time
