Okay, this is driving me super crazy! I watched this film about 5 years ago on the true movies sky channel, therefore it is not a well known hollywood movie with famous actors. It is based on a true story and from what I can remember has a one or two word title, perhaps with 'Justice' or similar word in.
This is what I can remember (may be a little shady.. )

A father is sent to court over child abuse allegations (physical and sexual) and the mother knows he is guilty. The child was in a wheelchair, I think because of the abuse. When in court, the father is found innocent, much to everyone's shock ( most people know he is to blame) and then the mother stand up in the court, and shoots him with a hand gun, and he is killed.

The story then follows the mother as the court tries to come to the decision of what charge to account the mother too (shows her in prison, and when she goes home to visit the daughter). In the end, in the final court scene, the parents of the deseased father testify and plead with the judge to let the mother go as they know their son had abused his daughter. In the end, the jury decides the mother should face manslaughter charges instead of murder.

Please, please, please, anyone who has seen or heard about this film or one similar, Post a response! It is driving me up the wall!
